Event Sponsorship
NCLifeSci forums address topics of vital interest to the life sciences industry, such as emerging companies, medical devices, laboratory space and market, CROs and trials. These forums are in addition to our marquee events, our Legislative Reception and Annual Meeting.

NCLifeSci members are invited to sponsor our events and meetings. Sponsorship provides for event expenses including venue, AV, catering, print materials, and more. Funds in excess of costs are used to support NCLifeSci’s general operations. Sponsorship opportunities are available for:
- NCLifeSci Life Science Forums
- NCLifeSci Annual Membership Meeting
- Legislative Forum
- Legislative Reception
The Annual Meeting occurs in October, with the beginning of our membership year. More than 200 NCLifeSci members and invited guests come together to enjoy a program of speakers and panels addressing current topics of importance to the industry. The meeting includes ample networking opportunities including a pre-meeting dinner (invite only), breakfast, 1-2 networking breaks, and lunch.
NCLifeSci offers multiple Annual Meeting sponsorship levels ranging from Bronze $2,000 to Platinum $5,000 with correlated benefits. For detailed information regarding Annual Meeting sponsorship opportunities, take a look at the Annual Meeting Sponsor Flyer 2023 (PDF).
The Legislative Forum is similar to the Life Science Forums (noted above) with legislators or other elected officials serving as panelists or speakers. The Legislative Forum sponsorship is $1,000.
The Legislative Reception provides an opportunity for legislators and other elected officials to learn more about the life science industry in North Carolina and network with NCLifeSci members. The reception sponsorship begins at $2,000. Benefits of sponsoring the reception include organization name and logo on event materials and signage. Sponsors providing $3,000 can participate in the poster galleria, highlighting life science member companies.
Member companies sponsoring legislative events may be required to report their sponsorship as a lobbying expense for purposes of state lobbying regulations or tax returns.
Monies collected go toward NCLifeSci’s total advocacy and policy efforts and are not attributed to any one event, meeting, or activity. No company recognition is provided.
NCLifeSci will file lobbying expense reports for funds used to defray lobbying expenses. Advocacy support grants may be considered lobbying expenses for tax purposes.
