Natacha Janvier joins NCBIO as membership director
Natacha Janvier has joined NCBIO as the organization's new membership director.
Janvier began her new role on Nov. 15.
"We are very excited to have Natacha joining us," said NCBIO President Laura Gunter. "She has an impressive background in North Carolina's life sciences industry, and she will be a great asset to our membership recruitment and retention, as well as being another strong connection and touch point for members.
"She is committed to the success of the industry and excited to be of service."
Janvier comes to NCBIO from Eva Garland Consulting where she was the businessdevelopment coordinator. Before that, she was with NCCU’s BRITE for more than 14 years as a senior academic adviser and science recruiter. She also spent more than seven years as a scientist at GSK.
She holds a master's degree in zoology from Michigan State University and a BS in Biology from Grambling State University.
As director of member services, Janvier will handle membership recruitment, retention, sponsorships and general member services. She takes over these duties from Gunter, who was elevated to the president's role in July.
